Asphalt 8 Tenerife Update on iOS & Android

Gameloft have just released a new update for Asphalt 8 Airborne including 4 new tracks based on the island of Tenerife.

It’s now available for iOS, Android and Windows 8 devices.

The update includes:

  • NEW LOCATION: Master the island of Tenerife, from its tropical beaches to its breathtaking mountains and untamed wilderness, on 4 intense new tracks!
  • 8 NEW CARS: The Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8 LMS Ultra and 6 more heart-thumping vehicles are coming over the next few weeks. Stay tuned and compete in special Time-Limited Events to unlock them before anyone else!
  • EXCLUSIVE DECALS: Show off your unique style with these new custom options.
  • REVAMPED MULTIPLAYER EVENTS: Now you can compete against up to 12 players, instead of 8, in more challenging events for more pumped-up rewards.
  • APPLE WATCH & WIDGETS: Stay connected and never miss an event, new car or special offer again!
  • 64-bit SUPPORT

Currently it only seems possible to play two of the new tracks: Tenerife Dragon Tree which is available in the Sedan Cup Event and Multiplayer, and Tenerife Mount Teide which is available in the Season 9 Event for the BMW M3.

Here’s a little gameplay from the BMW M3 Sedan Cup which features the new Tenerife Dragon Tree Track.

And here’s the BMW M3 Sedan Season 9 Event which features the new Tenerife Mount Teide Track.

I’ve only played the two new tracks that are available briefly, but I definitely prefer it to the last new track (Sector 8).
